@Coach__Strick@CoachMattDennis@reidouse A lot factors into this and probably too many to go into, but a bad shot is better than a TO. More shots = more points. Just my two cents.
Using 3v3 during 5-6 minute basketball practice segments to learn to play out of concepts in our Princeton offense point series.
What constraints would you use to improve this?
Raptors had.. Siakim go to 25 finals. OG 26 finals. Seems they let the wrong guys go. Siakim, Barnes, OG…. Not a better group of wings. What a defensive nightmare.
As I’ve gotten older and learned from smarter coaches. Blaming the refs is weak. You gave up 76pts, allowed 60% shooting, 14 3s for 56% in a half.
Sure that’s the refs fault!!
Duke associate head coach @CoachCarrawell shared how they
✅Built a player-centric adaptable offense (5-out for Flagg in ‘24/early post-ups for Boozer in ‘25).
✅Create situational player development
✅Allow players to “fix it”
and so much more https://t.co/XXePvmEFXX
As predicted, the Spurs unleashed the three "Slash Brothers,” and it may have saved their season.
Mitch Johnson was specifically asked after the game about his decision to play De’Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper, and Stephon Castle together, a lineup I wrote about before Game 3 as a potential series-changing adjustment because New York had shown little ability to contain it.
What’s fascinating is that the trio breaks several conventional NBA rules.
All three are most effective with the ball in their hands. None are elite high-volume mid range and three-point shooters. On paper, the spacing shouldn’t work.
And yet it does and New York can't keep up.
Their collective speed, downhill pressure, playmaking, and ability to attack the paint create a different kind of gravity that forces defenses into uncomfortable decisions.
Johnson wasn’t interested in giving away too much afterward, responding with a sly smile at the end after being asked about it.
But make no mistake: this may be the most important tactical adjustment the Spurs coaching staff has made all postseason.

Wow the FGB Summer Jam had an awesome showing yesterday great games, great players, great venue, for the right reasons appreciate everyone who supported looking forward to growing the game in Orlando one event at a time!
Was wondering when the Fox, Harper, Castle trio would come last series. Now in the finals, but Fox just checked out. Why won’t these 3 share more time.
