PARDON 😱😱😱
#RWS
If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated.
On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades.
After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced.
We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...
Catholics burnt out of their houses in 1969, ethnic minorities burnt out in 2026. Shame on any #Catholic or #Republican in #Ireland who gives any kind of support or excuse to these bigots. We need to know our history and stand together against racism and oppression in #Belfast.
Families burnt from their homes while self-styled Irish patriots egg it on online.
The scenes echo British rich history: the Plantations, Cromwell, the Belfast Pogroms, Bombay Street.
Embarrassing. 🥱
Not exactly the ‘unity’ we’d aspired to
‘Irish Patriots’ spent decades insisting they weren't British, only to end up echoing loyalist rhetoric on immigration, borders and identity. Strange journey from rejecting Empire to defending some of its most familiar anxieties. 🥱
The horrific scenes in North Belfast should not be used by English, right wing politicians to further their own ends. I don’t ever remember them commenting on any of the other hellish things that community has experienced over the years.
As the 80th anniversary of the bombing of British troops at the King David Hotel by Israelis approaches, British loyalists will be celebrating Israel. 91 people, 28 of them British citizens, now forgotten?
I don’t know who this bloke is, but he looks like he’s stepped straight out of a different era.
The suit. The tie. The beard. The confidence.
A proper throwback to an England that valued character, individuality and a bit of class. 👏👍✊🇬🇧👌❤️🙏
“People don't want to do anything for fear of it being unpopular.”
@dmcbfs and @timcairns react to the news that a £230 million fund given to Stormont two years ago remains unspent.
Just how bad is The Executive’s inaction problem?
