@ConnaireMcG @AdamCarson1 I think the pyramid restructure was the wrong answer to the right problem. In my opinion there are too many Intermediate teams & the level is diluted - but the existing pyramid worked. Tighten the ground & licensing criteria…cut the numbers and raise the standard that way.

@ConnaireMcG Procedural mistakes happen nobody’s arguing that. But this wasn’t just a bit of company admin. It affected league rules, promotion, relegation & nearly the start of the season. If concerns had already been raised & weren’t acted on then accountability has to be part of the review

Delighted the season is going ahead. Although there still needs to be a proper explanation of how it got this close to not starting, where governance failed and what changes are being made. Without a proper review we’ll only end up back here again.

@KickingMatch Whatever the outcome this has to be a wake up call for football here. We can’t keep making big decisions, finding problems afterwards and then expecting clubs to just accept it. With summer football now being pushed by NIFL how can anyone have confidence in that process...

@ConnaireMcG I agree on the pyramid review, but it still comes across as yes mistakes were made, but let’s just get on with it because it’s now inconvenient to deal with them. That’s not the standard clubs are held to so why should the governing body be treated any differently?
