NYC Mayor's Wife - "First Lady Rama Duwaji" - skips America’s 250th birthday for a $3,400 Islamic wellness retreat in Spain!!!

While the country marked 250 years of independence, Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife boarded a flight to Mallorca for a sold-out “Plants Of The Quran” spiritual wellness retreat.

She serves as artist in residence and one of the hosts for the event, which runs through Monday and focuses on sacred plants from Islamic texts through art and reflection.

Duwaji is also set to host another retreat in Corsica, France, next week titled “Mary In The Quran.”
The timing has sparked backlash, with critics calling it a deliberate snub to American celebrations.
