@EliotClough Stirtz needs help no doubt and I think we have the guys that can step up. While he was Iowa’s leading scorer I’m not sure the night he shoots 35% from the field and 20% from 3 is the night to clamor for help.

Anything that didnt work was purely on the players but then we of course have to mismanage the clock that a literal grade schooler could do a better job of and then go into a shell and realize we cannot throw the ball.

@HawkeyeReport The media has to stop saying these teams are “hot” or “on fire.” It’s 15 years of zero defense. It’s a ranked team at home against a team who plays no defense…what do you think is going to happen? Call it what it is…our players/defense is bad and our coaching is worse.

@ChadLeistikow We have some awful/underperforming players but Fran continues to be a horrible in game coach. Somehow we continue to give him a pass solely bc he resurrected the program. While forvever appreciative of that, every day he remains head coach, the program’s hole will dig deeper.
