Just in: Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has been ruled out for Game 2 tonight against the New York Knicks due to ankle and hip injuries, sources tell ESPN.
Overall Iβm a pretty decent person. What the Sixers have done to me over the last 10 years is a level of pain and humiliation I couldnβt even begin to explain
Stepping outside for the first time after 4 margaritas at Jose Pistolas, getting hit by a Jeep Cherokee on the sidewalk, dusting off my pants and walking across the street to get Kenny cans at Garage
A decade ago it was a question if Embiid would ever play a game in the NBA. He's played thru countless injuries both because he's prone to them and because he's terrible unlucky. Despite his body breaking down since college he's become a hall of famer and one of the best scorers ever.
Ultimately he won't win a title and will be labeled a failure by the internet. His career has been frustrating but also a huge joy to watch as a Sixers fan. He's our guy. He's the process. We sat thru 10 and he's the only good thing to come of it.
The bigger question is why WOULDN'T we ride for Joel Embiid?
