Buhari Government spent N11 trillion on fuel subsidy in 8 years. Fuel sold for N195.
Tinubu came in and immediately removed the fuel subsidy. Fuel price jumped to N1,200.
But through the back door, Tinubu continued paying fuel subsidy - but renamed it “Energy Security Expenses•”
What’s worse? Tinubu has already spent N11.9 trillion, in less than 4 years. Nigeria now secretly pays a higher fuel subsidy, while Nigerians buy fuel at a crazily higher price!

Now it's becoming very clear why Wale Edun had to resign that way.
Wale Edun must have explained certain realities to President Tinubu in a tone that must have angered him.
He must have told him that a country cannot continue to carry its targets from the previous year into the present year.
He must have told him that no country survives by borrowing to finance projects that do not bring economic returns to the people.
He must have told him that implementing less than 30 percent of what the National Assembly has approved in the last three years is very poor.
And trust me, those are probably the least statements President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would like to hear.
So, instead of redeeming his government, it was much quicker to tell him to resign.

Contrary to your account of events surrounding Mr. Peter Obi’s transit through the Abuja Airport on Saturday, July 4, it has become necessary to set the record straight.
Mr. Peter Obi does not have any police or civil defence personnel attached to him in Abuja, despite being entitled to VVIP protection by virtue of his status as a leading opposition figure in Nigeria. He certainly does not have a police officer serving as his driver. Your reference to a “police driver” appears to have been based on the assumption that he enjoys the level of security protection ordinarily accorded to someone of his standing. He does not.
Mr. Obi travels through multiple airports across Nigeria well over a dozen times every week. As someone who frequently travels with him, I have personally witnessed repeated instances of unusual discourtesy directed at him by some government personnel.
From your own account of events, it is evident that the incident Mr. Obi referred to during his interview occurred on a different date and at a different airport from the one referenced in your tweet.
However, let me address the incident you chose to publicise.
KEY CLARIFICATIONS
1. The incident you posted is entirely different from the one Mr. Peter Obi narrated in his interview. In that interview, he clearly stated: “I was there…” In the incident contained in your tweet, he was not present.
If we now have at least two separate incidents in which vehicles associated with Mr. Obi were clamped under questionable circumstances, does this not suggest a pattern of targeting an individual simply because of who he is?
2. The entire sequence of events you referenced, from arrival to the eventual clamping of the vehicle, lasted approximately five minutes.
At most airports around the world, including major international airports, a ten-minute drop-off window is generally considered acceptable. Where, then, did the claim of 30 minutes originate?
Do you not agree that half-truths can sometimes be more misleading than outright falsehoods?
3. Is it not a fact that several other vehicles were in the vicinity of Mr. Obi’s vehicle without attracting similar attention from airport officials? Indeed, some of those vehicles had been parked there long before Mr. Obi’s vehicle arrived, yet none was clamped.
4. I have personally been at the airport on several occasions when serving and former government officials arrived in large convoys, blocked access routes, and caused considerable inconvenience to the travelling public, without any agency of government taking similar action.
5. Under your watch, there have been other high-profile airport incidents, including:
The disruption involving Senator Adams Oshiomhole and airline staff.
The incident involving Mr. Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), a known associate of the President, who allegedly attempted to prevent an aircraft from departing.
You are undoubtedly aware of both incidents.
Where was this same enthusiasm to instigate public outrage and issue official condemnations? Was CCTV footage from those incidents also released, or was the CCTV system only activated when it involved Mr. Peter Obi?
6. Can the publication of CCTV footage detailing Mr. Peter Obi’s movements on your personal social media platform be considered a serious breach of his personal security?
Your footage established no wrongdoing. Instead, you further exposed the movements of a leading opposition figure whose security concerns are already significant.
Would you release equivalent CCTV footage of other presidential candidates of Mr. Obi’s standing who travel in private and presidential aircraft funded by taxpayers?
Should a leading presidential candidate not be accorded security protocols consistent with democratic best practices?

This is the picture of the police criminal gang leader who intercepted me at Ajao junction on Wednesday morning being 22nd of April, 2026 while going to work at exactly 05:55am. I saw a colleague by name Comrade chinedu . As i cleared to pick him up, they double crossed me with korope bus without reg number. They forced my colleague out of my vehicle and forcefully collected my key from me and pushed me to the back seat and three of them jumped inside my vehicle all dressed in police uniform, well armed and one on mask. They drove off and turned under NAHCO bridge and headed towards Mile 2. On getting to Cele express, they cleared before the bridge and forced me to transfer the sum of 200k into a named first Bank acct and this transfer was made at gunpoint at exactly 6 29am.Immediately they confirmed the alert, they all jumped down from my vehicle and fled into their korope and zoomed off towards Mile 2. Attached below is the receipt of transaction and the picture of their leader. I reported the incident at the police station, showing them the picture of the gang's team lead but the Nigerian police force has not been forthcoming in their investigation.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.

Sola Scriptura (“Scripture alone”) is the Reformation principle that Holy Scripture is the sole infallible rule and norm (norma normans) for Christian doctrine, faith, and life. It is the ultimate authority because it is the inspired Word of God Himself; all other authorities (church fathers, councils, traditions, reason, or philosophy) are subordinate, must be tested by Scripture, and have no independent binding power if they contradict or go beyond it.0
Both Philip Melanchthon (1497–1560) and Martin Chemnitz (1522–1586) upheld and defended this principle as central to Lutheran theology, though their emphases and contexts differ slightly. Melanchthon articulated it early as the formal principle of the Reformation and applied it systematically in his teaching and confessions. Chemnitz provided the most detailed Lutheran refutation of the Roman Catholic counter-position at the Council of Trent (1545–1563), especially in his Examination of the Council of Trent (Examen Concilii Tridentini, 1565–1573). Below is their teaching drawn directly from their own writings and the historical record.
Melanchthon’s Explanation of Sola Scriptura
Melanchthon, often called praeceptor Germaniae (“teacher of Germany”), was one of the earliest and most systematic defenders of the principle. He preceded Luther in some key statements and made Scripture the foundation of all his theological work, especially in the Loci Communes Theologici (first edition 1521, revised through 1543/1559), the first Protestant systematic theology.56
•Scripture is the sole necessary and sufficient rule of faith. In his 1519 Baccalaureate Theses (defended before becoming a full theologian), Melanchthon declared:
“It is not necessary for a Catholic to believe in any other articles of faith than those to which Scripture is a witness,” and “The authority of councils is below the authority of Scripture.”56
This established Scripture as the only infallible witness to doctrine. Councils, popes, fathers, or human traditions have no binding authority unless they are demonstrably grounded in and harmonious with Scripture.
•Scripture alone reveals God and His will. In the Loci Communes, Melanchthon teaches that we know God only as He has revealed Himself “in His Word and by sure witnesses.” All knowledge of God, creation, salvation, and life must be drawn from Scripture:
“We sit enclosed, drawing our knowledge of God and of life from the Word of God, so that we may worship Him as He has revealed Himself.”56
Human reason, philosophy, or extra-biblical traditions cannot supply or correct what Scripture alone provides. Melanchthon’s Loci method organizes doctrine by extracting “common places” (loci) directly from exegetical study of Scripture (especially Paul’s letters), treating the Bible as a unified whole to be interpreted according to its own linguistic and grammatical rules.13
•Subordinate use of other sources. Melanchthon did not reject the church fathers, creeds, or even classical philosophy outright. He studied them extensively and cited them as witnesses (testimonia patrum) to show that Lutheran teaching was not novel but the ancient faith of the church. However, they are always judged by Scripture. His Loci Communes functions as a “commentary” on Scripture, with all other writings measured against it.8 Philosophy and the liberal arts have a limited role under the Law/Gospel distinction (a key Melanchthonian hermeneutic): they serve civil order and aid clear thinking but cannot establish doctrine. Sola Scriptura chastens reason so it serves, rather than rules, the Word.2
•Practical application. In the Augsburg Confession (1530, largely Melanchthon’s work) and its Apology, doctrine is proved from Scripture alone. Councils and fathers are cited only where they agree with it. Melanchthon insisted theologians must be first grammarians and dialecticians (expert in Scripture’s language and logic) before they can be faithful witnesses.
My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family,
He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back ,
When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back,
His elder brother was kidnapped,ransom was demanded ,
Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife,
But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve,
At the same time, hubby lost everything to them,and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace

She d!ed in her lover’s house and from the condition of that house you can already tell this was not about looking for a wealthy man.
Right now, nobody may even know the exact cause of her de@th but one thing is certain.
That “lover” will not just walk away. He will face a murder charge in court and if the court finds him guilty, the law is clear it is either de@th by lawful means or life imprisonment.
Just like that one situation has turned into a potential criminal trial. This is how quickly things escalate.

What felt like “harmless secrets”…
Can end in police investigations, courtrooms, and irreversible consequences.
Six children are left behind, a family is shattered and another life may be completely destr0yed by the law. All because boundaries were ignored.
When you refuse to set boundaries for yourself,
