@CynicalTherapi1 We’ve had parents send back bus referrals with red pen markups of the bus driver���s spelling/grammar. Sure, they made mistakes for whatever reason, but that doesn’t change what’s going on with your student. Teachers & staff are human; we make mistakes, too.

@CynicalTherapi1 If your child isn’t meeting grade level standards in the skill, or requires more practice to get there, the T is doing their job by informing you. Their grammar doesn’t change your child’s grammar skills. They’re just telling you what your child needs.

@ambernoelle We don’t live very close to a TJs, but the last time I went in one & bought ice cream the cashier was absolutely delightful, telling me which flavors were most popular and about their guarantee just in case I didn’t like the flavor I was trying. Friendly, personable, & helpful!

@GeonnCannon @ambernoelle I’ve worked in a few different retail jobs, but the worst was the greeter position at a trendy teen clothing store. Teenagers were obviously too cool to respond, but the amount of adults who walked by like you didn’t exist was so dehumanizing.

@ClueDragon @AbortionChat My dog is very friendly and always on leash outside of our yard, but I still couldn’t guarantee that she wouldn’t snap if someone ran up to her, caught her by surprise, and repeatedly hit her. I’m a parent as well, and this is 100% on the parent(s) of the child.
