para hablar ingles uso mucho episoden. es gratis y son conversaciones de 7 minutos con gente del todo el mundo. No te ayudará a hablar de software ni nada de eso pero ayuda mucho a perder el miedo a hablar con gente.

Yo estuve usando por unos 5 meses gentle-ai y fue super bien. Despues e me hizo mucho y ahora uso los skills principales de matt pocock y algos de pstack.

la verdad prefiero la simplicidad. gentle-ai aunque me gusta si lo siento muy cargado y prefiero tener mas control.

A while ago, I built OpenWhispr Proxy to solve an integration gap. OpenWhispr’s text requests already work with Vercel AI Gateway’s OpenAI-compatible API, but its audio transcription requests use a different API format. The proxy bridges that audio flow.

I’ve updated it with a dashboard at /dashboard for usage, costs, and filterable request history. I also published a prebuilt Docker image to GitHub Container Registry (GHCR), so you can run it without building the image yourself.

The proxy also routes transcript cleanup requests, which lets me see usage from both audio and text in one place.

I use OpenWhispr every day for dictation. it's open source, and you can run it free with local models or your own API keys.

but it has a problem: it doesn't support Vercel's AI Gateway, which is what I use for everything.

so I built a proxy that fixes it.

run it locally, point OpenWhispr at it, and you get Vercel AI Gateway as a provider.

I also added something I wanted: it logs every transcription to SQLite with cost and latency. so I know exactly what I'm spending and how fast each model responds.

A mi me pasó y como bien dice aparte de agotador y frustrante también te puede quemar, y entras en un bucle en el que los propios reviews los tienes que delegar 100% a la AI porque no sabes ni que como funciona lo que tenias de antes.

@midudev En su momento lo hice porque tenia cursor. Ahora con C# tuve q volver xq las extensiones funcionan mejor ahí (y ya no tengo cursor 😅)
