This started out as a cooling problem. The plane was at 100 degrees inside and they were unable to cool it to 80 to board the plane. It stayed at 90 until the sun went down. At that time the pilot timed out. They were unable to foresee this ahead of time to prevent the cancelation. That is why checked bags are on the plane and waiting for the passenger to return tomorrow.
Like it or not… There are different rules for different players… if you think a HS football coach in Texas is sitting his starting QB for missing a game or practice, you are crazy!
This is a no win situation, parents will also complain if the team is losing because starters are sitting on the bench!
If the team captain goes to the coach and requests the player plays because the team is ok with it no matter if a player misses games, the coach and admin should respect the decision and let the player play.
@SportsSturm Muschamp understands Kirby and the Georgia offense and defense. The missing piece to tackle the Georgia monkey on Sark’s back. A bit of a chess move if you ask me. This is a SMART move!
@RaymondEdler @LethalSoccer Wakeland beat RLT and Centennial beat heritage. So it looks like D2 - Wakeland wins district as first seed with HP second based on GD. D1 is reedy playing heritage at home and RLT playing centennial away.
@LethalSoccer Always play to win… but we complain when coaches leave in starters and score 8+ goals, and now we complain coaches are playing bench players that made their team. Did the teams that “threw” the games lose like 5+ goals to zero?
@LethalSoccer Not advocating, but have we reached a point in high school sports where playing kids that were good enough to make the team but may not have played much during the season called “throwing the game”.
@LethalSoccer Not advocating but let’s look at it like this… if you have clinched playoffs, should kids that have practiced all year, been great teammates but got minimal game time over the season play? Maybe that Sr in their last games or the Jr for next year…
@joedangerously@elchingon_eloy @LethalSoccer Wakeland won first game - (2-O) and lost second (2-1). So the GD would be (3-2) in favor of Wakeland. So you are correct… you are right… Wakeland would be in first.
@joedangerously@elchingon_eloy @LethalSoccer They are currently in second, so they need to hope for Reedy to beat RLT and HP. Reedy looks to be playing well since their first match with Wakeland which seemed oddly lopsided based on the score.
