@OttTempleISD@OttTempleISD…an amazing day with passionate leaders! The focus was definitely on impacting student learning! Such a hard working and dedicated group wanting what is best for Temple students.
EOC review is TOUGH. This year I made "crash courses" that we fill out together and then put on the board as a visual reminder of everything we've learned/how it's all connected. I wanted to S/O @cmillerbrady because breaking down TEKS made this process flawless! #robinsonisd
We have enjoyed our Campus Leadership Zoom conversations this Spring. Due to busy summer schedules for everyone, we are postponing Zooms until fall. Stay tuned for our Fall Campus Leadership Zoom Series for next school year!
Enjoy your summer! Stay safe!

W8Q5: The feedback on the Canvas courses have been positive. Teachers are getting more comfortable with the system and are finding the resources helpful. We are also trying to use more technology platforms during our sessions (Padlet, Trello, FlipGrid, etc) #R12blendedlearing
W8Q4: TIME! That is the biggest issue...time to prepare.. time to present..time to collaborate..time to followup. I think that our participants are getting more familiar with the new learning style and we are not having to explain as much, which is helpful. #R12blendedlearing
W8Q3: The ELAR department is always trying to find new, innovative ways to present our material. I am really excited about how our first two sessions in Cultivating a Culture for Literacy have been received by our participants. I want to continue to grow. #R12blendedlearing
W8Q2: I think the individual playlist also allows choice and ownership in learning. It is something that I would be interested in exploring, but not sure how it would work with just having our participants for one day and on one focus topic. #R12blendedlearing
W8Q1: The A La Cart model allows students to have choice and ownership of their learning and work. It is a mindshift for the teacher and may feel like you are not in control, but powerful to turn learning ownership and responsibility to students! #R12blendedlearing
W7Q2: I am very comfortable with station rotation and see the benefits of learning. Small groups all day long is the best way to meet the needs of all of our learners. #r12blendedlearning
W7Q1: I think this is a teacher comfort choice. The main objective and goal is student engagement with multiple opportunities to respond and practice a skill. #r12blendedlearning
W4Q4: I think teacher involvement will increase as they become more comfortable with Canvas. I try to frequently check my chats and provide feedback so that teachers see this as a valuable resource. This is a great way for teachers to share and collaborate! #r12blendedlearning
W4Q1: I think the skills needed for BL depends on what the teacher is wanting to do, but conversations and collaboration need to be a part for sure! Students need to be activtely engaged and take ownership in their learning. #r12blendedlearning
W3Q1: Our Digital Innovation team has been so helpful to me in this learning process! @mcnairan3 has shared and presented technology ideas at most of sessions. @TheArchiTechEd is always supportive and saves me when I need help! They are awesome!#r12blendedlearning
W2A5: I think the biggest challenge I had with my BL session was that it was new to participants. I did not have anyone complete the pre-work, even with reminder emails. This will get better with time and exposure. #r12blendedlearning
W2A4: I am still growing and learning about different digital tools and resources to use in sessions and share with teachers, but I have made a goal for myself to use atleast one new tool each session. #r12blendedlearning
