The White Sox offseason really reminds me of the movie Jingle All the Way. All of the other teams are getting a Turbo Man for Christmas and in the end, we’re getting Rick Hahn dressed up like Turbo Man telling us it’s the same exact thing.
I think the thing we are missing regarding Caleb Williams reaction to the injury yesterday is his love for winning, the city, and football.
A Grade 1 hamstring can cause sharp pain early on. Caleb didn’t know the severity, so the thought of the season going out the window and letting the city and team down probably weighed heavily on him in that moment. The offense dropped 59 in Week 1, and the Bears likely win yesterday if Caleb doesn’t go down, too. So all of those emotions factored into his genuine and authentic reaction. This could and still might be a special season.
But anyone calling him soft or saying his reaction was over the top is absurd. I can’t believe it’s even a topic.
Yeah I don’t care anymore about the “we weren’t supposed to be here” cop out. That ended when they maintained 1st place for 2 full months, it’s a totally different feeling from chasing a playoff spot, to blowing one.
At the end of the day the White Sox are always gonna White Sox. It just took longer than normal this year. Congratulations Cleveland on winning the division.
I don’t know about u guys, but I’d be absolutely gutted if the Sox blew this division. Getting too many “oh they’re ahead of schedule it’s okay” replies, but they’ve been in 1st for 2 months now basically and it would suck if they blew this
I love the Bears but man I’m so tired of everything being marketed around the past and the glory days.
This team has been bad for decades. Most of us weren’t even alive to experience the shit we keep celebrating
Can we please get some Bears stuff that feels modern and fresh for once?
Idk maybe I’m being negative but I’m over living in 1985 lmao
Caitlin Clark is under no obligation to be the spokesperson for anyone’s political or social cause. I think there is, to a reasonable degree, a responsibility to be a good role model to young girls and boys and with her platform, and by all reasonable accounts, she has been
Trying to pressure or shame someone into an opinion isn’t advocacy, it’s an attempt to control what people say, or not say and stir controversy for clicks. That’s a slippery slope
americans posting that they are rooting against USMNT because the president got involved are the worst people in all of this.
oh i’m getting on my political moral high horse to root for *checks notes* belgium. get the fuck out of my face, man lmao
