Η παρατήρηση του @MichalisTweets είναι προφανώς ορθή. Ειδικά αν ληφθεί υπόψει ότι στις 26.03 ο ΚΕ δήλωσε ευθαρσώς ό,τι "η απόφαση της Ελλάδος να στηρίξη άλλη υποψιφιότητα ΔΕΝ δεσμεύει την ΚΔ." Η δε εκτενής πρόσφατη απάντηση του ΠτΔ για υποψηφιότητα ΒΔ μάλλον άστοχη ήταν.

Για τον Διεθνή Ναυτιλιακό Οργανισμό (IMO), η Κύπρος είχε ουσιαστικά 2 επιλογές:
1. Να διεκδικήσει η ίδια τη γραμματεία με Βασίλη Δημητριάδη και τη στήριξη ΕΕ.
2. Να μην πράξει το (1) πιέζοντας για ανταλλάγματα στο θέμα Τουρκικού εμπάργκο.
Τελικά έκανε το αδιανόητο: Τίποτα.

@dpdionysiou 1/2 Wishful thinking DD. Όταν το σίδερο ήταν ζεστό το 2007 κάποιοι εισηγήθηκαν την ΣγΕ (PfP). Ο τότε ΠτΔ ‘κρύφτηκε’ πίσω από τον τότε ΠτΒ. Ο διάδοχος του για γνωστούς λόγους ούτε που το σκέφτηκε. Ο διάδοχος αυτού έβαλε την ΣγΕ στο Πρόγραμμα του (10 χρόνια) και το έκανε γαργάρα.

2/2 Η ΔΥ ενός κράτος αποτελείται από τους λειτουργούς του ΥΠΕΞ του συγκεκριμένου κράτους. Το ΔΣ είναι το σύνολο των ξένων διπλωματών που είναι διαπιστευμένοι κ υπηρετούν στην πρωτεύουσα του κράτους σε μια συγκεκριμένη χρονική περίοδο.
