It's weird to me how trump never lets go of a grudge, he still bitches about Obama, Biden, Hillary, and even Rosie O'Donnell for some reason.
He never says a word about any of the people who supposedly tried to assassinate him.
Nothing. Weird.
Hiring Mike Babcock is a troubling sign for the Oilers. It signals an organization stuck in the past, clinging to old names instead of embracing new ideas.
Whatever else Babcock is, he is a capable coach, but I can't get over this idea that he'll instill a culture of accountability in Edmonton. When I think of the Core Four era of the Toronto Maple Leafs, I'm definitely not thinking "culture of accountability."
@Bob_Stauffer This would be the dumbest decision made by an organization who has made many dumb decisions. Babcock hasn't been a winner in over a decade. This is typical Katz. This reeks of desperation after mishandling both Knoblauch firing and Cassidy's availability
Elon Musk: If Kamala wins she'll hide the Epstein files, & be a threat to democracy.
If Trump wins he'll release the Epstein files, & focus on the people.
This idiot has NEVER been right about anything. 👇
Canadian conservatives have become the loudest bunch of whiners in the country.
“No investment.”
“No energy strategy.”
“No export markets.”
“No one wants our resources.”
Then the second a major deal gets announced, like LNG exports to Germany, suddenly it’s:
“Terrible deal.”
“Selling out to Europe.”
“Not enough profit.”
“Why are we helping Germany?”
So which is it?
For years they screamed that Canada needed to diversify energy exports, reduce dependence on the US market, and build stronger relationships with allies. Germany literally comes looking for stable Canadian energy after Europe got burned by Russian dependence, and now the same people act offended that Canada is doing business with them.
Apparently conservatives want investment, jobs, pipelines, exports, trade deals, and energy dominance… but only if they can still complain afterward.
At this point, complaining IS the platform.
🇺🇸 🇨🇦 This week, separatists handed in 302,000 signatures to trigger an Alberta referendum.
The same week, Canada’s intelligence chief confirmed the process is vulnerable to foreign interference.
A formal research report named the United States and Russia as the two powers working to break Canada apart. American officials met separatist leaders in Washington.
Tucker Carlson called Canada “not sovereign” and suggested coercive regime change. That is word for word the language Putin used before invading Ukraine.
The influencers pushing this content were being paid by the Russian government through a front company. Russian money. American faces. Canadian target.
Russia works covertly. America works openly. Both want the same thing: a broken Canada.
Full piece is up.

To be a MAGA is to be a slave.
Not physically, but mentally.
They stand for nothing.
We're up against people who stand for nothing.
And with the most misplaced confidence you've ever seen, they try to tell us whats-what.
We shouldn't even acknowledge these people.
The Trump supporters that remain are mentally too far gone.
I don't even want to argue with them anymore.

Patrick Lennox, Former RCMP Intelligence Manager, on Alberta’s election data breach:
That data—the full names, addresses, and phone numbers of almost 3 million voting age Albertans—circulated for at least a month in the Maple MAGAsphere, but has almost certainly been captured by state based authoritarian adversaries including Russia, China, and the United States.
This poses a massive public safety risk and exposes the October 19th referendum process to profound levels of foreign interference from the global far right. Alberta is completely exposed. All of our elections data is in the far right wind.

Was undone by horrific PDO luck after being the first coach to get the Oilers playing like a contender in 97 era.
Deserved better and made Knob look exactly like one.
Kind of hard to believe that the Oilers are going to burn the prime years of McDavid and Draisaitl because management couldn't find a #1 goalie with a 100-game shelf life for 12 consecutive seasons or more
