@cfishman Canada will not agree to the same rules the US and Mexico follow regarding trade with 3rd party nations. Specifically China. When the US tariffed Chinese steel, China started sending it through Mexico oand Canada. Mexico agreed to stop that, Canada won't.

I am an American and I do not hate Canadian. That being said what Ottawa has allowed Ontario and Quebec do to Canada's Western Provences is genuinely disgusting. I feel badly for Canadians in the Western Provences and I hope they're adequately represented soon.
