@NicolasSchmitEU I‘m not saying interns shouldn’t be paid. I wish I had been paid. But this was during the 08-10 financial crisis and I applied to 40-50 jobs as a senior university undergraduate. I only heard back from one! Had this legislation been in place, that one job would not have existed.

@EricJHovland @wilnerhotline Full disclosure: I bleed purple & gold but I’m pulling for the Cougs/Beavs on this one. They do not deserve what happened to them and keeping control of the PAC-2 assets might help them find a path forward, even if only as a negotiating chip. Departing schools should be ashamed!

@EricJHovland @wilnerhotline Sure, but again: This dispute is about who now has authority over (i.e. the right to govern) the conference, which persists as a legal entity even in absence of a media rights deal. The MRD is only a secondary contractual relationship between the conference and third parties.
