Netanyahu says he and Trump are fully aligned on denying Iran nuclear weapons. Hours earlier, Israeli sources said Israel is not even a party to the deal Trump announced.

Israeli sources told Channel 12 that Netanyahu was not given advance notice of Trump’s announcement and that Israel is not a party to the memorandum of understanding. That deal covers Hormuz reopening and the naval blockade, while the nuclear question Netanyahu claims alignment on remains at the discussion stage, not the text.

The ceasefire track and the nuclear track are no longer the same negotiation. One has a deal. The other has a statement of alignment with no agreed terms.
