WE MADE IT!!! Germany vs Ivory Coast 🇩🇪🇨🇮
Our second game of the World Cup, and the strongest opponent in our group stage awaits us. This should be a great match!
I don't even think they think that GenAI will save us.
They know climate collapse is coming and they're all accelerationists. They've been building bunkers for a reason
They're trying to skip ahead to the part where we're not ''in their way anymore''.
They're in a cult
🧵If We Had To Play Him Every Week, I’d Be Fired Hall of Fame:
Eric Berry - Creekside High School
“As an option QB, and it didn’t matter how ‘sound’ our kids were. We were just thankful he graduated so we never had to face him again.”
Freddy: My flight got canceled
American Airlines: We’ll do whatever it takes to get you there
Me: My flight got canceled
American Airlines: Dang that’s crazy here’s a link to our FAQ
Never forget that Daniel Bryan was not supposed to be involved in this segment.
However, crowd was going crazy just for him and John Cena improvised and gave us this great moment.
This was fucking insane.
In 2002, home run king Barry Bonds hit an absolute nuke off Troy Percival that nearly slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of Tim Salmon, prompting the Angels slugger to say "that's the furthest ball I've ever seen hit."
Power vs. power.
Our 10 days in the Midwest come to a close. Now we move on to Texas for the next part of our great US World Cup Road Trip 🇺🇸
Things I’ve learnt along the way:
- Your weather is not to be messed with
- Your sunsets are stunning
- Your beer is fantastic
- Your barbecue is delicious
- Your scenery is beautiful
- Folk have STRONG opinions on barbecue and gas prices
- Biscuits and gravy are definitely
NOT scones and mushrooms
But above all… the people are amazing, true salt of the earth folk and remind me of back home in Yorkshire (a high compliment)
Thank you Midwesterners 🤍
I think it reflects extraordinarily well on America that not a single person @FreddyLA7 has come into contact with has breeched his privacy when it comes to not posting his picture online.
Thanks for posting and sharing. In 37 years as a radio/TV broadcaster in a lot of different roles, but obvs the Mavs primarily, I’ve done a lot I feel good about.
But this is frankly one of my absolute favorite things I’ve ever had the privilege to do. Everything I said was from the heart but it doesn’t come to life without the incredible work of Tanner and many others at the time at FSSW. And of course I had really good material to work with talking about Dirk!
I don’t care if you love the guy, hate the guy, or are completely indifferent to the guy…
If you look me in the eye and tell me this speech doesn’t get you up outta your seat and ready to run thru a brick wall, you’re lying to yourself.
This edit goes so hard #AlwaysKnicks
