-pivot to useful player who’s likely just a 6-8th man.

-use draft pick.

-enter next season with 70m of knee injuries on wing and no structural changes to roster.

-Ask 30 and 23 to play at a level unsustainable given their age and watch them get hurt again

Well sure but there’s a “market” for everything, including K-12 ed, police protection, clean water. We just choose to treat certain things as a public good with a basic level of access for all.

We could choose to see some access to youth sports as a public good, not a luxury.
