John. We live in Canada. We are a constitutional monarchy. That means we function as a democracy. That means we have a party in power (currently the Liberals) and an opposition party (currently the Conservatives).

Both leaders of each party have a staff, including media and communications.

Liberals make up approximately 55% of the Canadian population, Conservatives approximately 45%.
