Celtic: Progressive Play Problems

Carter-Vickers said Celtic's Play was "too random" at times and this is a real issue with Celtic's Identity just now:
> Do they want to dominate and play through lines?
> Do they want to build out from the back?
> Do they want to be direct and play off second balls?

Today, they tried the latter and it caused real damage & trying to play Rangers at their game isn't the solution:
> Not Physical Enough v Makhanya & Fernandez
> Not Positioned to Play off Second Balls
> Not Athletic Enough in Midfield

Callum McGregor is only 33 but is coming in for a lot of abuse & I am not sure what the issue is but he is definitely a lot more "passive" in his play than of previous versions:
> Ushering CB's on with the Ball
> Pointing for Others in Midfield to Play
> Lack of Movement to Get on the Ball

Celtic are still 2pts ahead of Rangers so it's not the end of days stuff being made out in my opinion but something does need fixed in their coached identity to correct current form.

For the record, The jury is out on Johnstone as well, but with England caps and many premier league appearances he surely has to be better than this. Joe Hart had a shaky first few appearances for Celtic and he turned out no too bad
