@NPR @soledadobrien The really sad thing is Florida has such a Work Force shortage. I don’t presume to know their backgrounds but at every level of skill and education we need people. They would have received job training, language support, health care, and Floridians would have benefited.

It should be a bigger story that school districts in Texas and Florida are suffering massive teacher shortages, in large part due to attacks on educators coming from the Republican governors of the states.

Our students should not be left behind due to Republican recklessness.
