I just got off the phone with President Trump following Iranian attacks and he told me “the people that make all of the decisions. Most of them are gone.” He also said he thinks the military action is “already a success." He went on to say “tremendous damage has been inflicted. Their leadership is gone. … not only from the one attack, but from two others.” 

He also addressed reports that Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in airstrikes today, saying, "We feel that that is a correct story."

Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.

Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

As we celebrate a free and independent press this weekend, AG Bondi rescinds Merrick Garland’s memo that provides significant protections for the news media and their sources. Bondi’s action opens the door for this administration to subpoena reporters for their sources. This is an assault on the free press and should frighten everyone.

Peter was on my team and one of the most committed public servants I have ever met. He’s worked under both R and D admins and spent time in the senate working for Orrin Hatch. Peter was committed to the mission of the department and did everything by the book. He has a heart of gold.
