Multiple events around the county will cause road closures around uptown and on major interstates today, Friday, October 25, 2024. We expect delays during dismissal which will impact bus drop-off times this afternoon and evening.
We appreciate your patience as our drivers navigate detours and traffic delays. Transportation managers and drivers are adjusting routes to ensure the safest and most efficient detours for students.

Today, multiple events around the county will cause road closures around uptown and on major interstates, including I-77 and I-277. These closures will affect several of our bus routes. NCDOT is stating that road closures and delays can be expected from 2:30 – 7 p.m. today.
Transportation managers are working to identify and communicate the safest and most efficient detours with drivers. We expect road closures to cause delays during dismissal which will impact student arrival times back to their homes this afternoon and evening.
