Once friends & family members could hold differing political views & remain close. Now those differences often engender hatred, disrupted relationships, even violence. When we reject people because they don't share our views we impoverish ourselves & tear apart the social fabric.
@chipcoffey@DIRECTV Ugggg 🤦🏻♀️good luck to you!! We spent 4 hours last Saturday in their automated hell!! Transfer, hold, disconnect over & over! Persistence paid off tho! 😉
Irrespective of whether we have faith in religion or not, it’s good to be more compassionate. It makes us happier as individuals with a positive influence on our families and the neighborhood where we live.
When we are in a state of sin, we are like "human bats" who can move about only at night. We find it easier to live in darkness because the light reveals to us what we do not want to see. But then our eyes grow accustomed to darkness and we no longer recognize the light.
Time is always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can't change the past, but we can learn from it to shape the future. Stress on ‘us’ and ‘them’ is a source of conflict. We neglect basic human qualities of kindness and compassion. Let’s work together to create a happier future.
In the #GospelOfTheDay (John11:1-45), Jesus tells us: "I am the resurrection and the life... have faith. Amid grief, continue to have faith, even when it seems that death has won. Let the Word of God restore life where there is death”.
It is not the time of your judgement, but of our judgement: a time to choose what matters and what passes away, a time to separate what is necessary from what is not. It is a time to get our lives back on track with regard to you, Lord, and to others.
Don’t put family at risk for #COVID19 by visiting them in person. Call grandparents or invite them to a video chat. Keep your loved ones safe by staying connected while physically distant: https://t.co/0D99fLmeyc. #PhysicalDistance#TogetherAlone
Let us stay united. I invite all Christians to direct their voices together toward Heaven, reciting the Our Father tomorrow, 25 March, at noon. #PrayTogether#PrayForTheWorld
@amyallantdf I would go to the UP of MI (over the Big Mac bridge). That is truly God’s country up there! Peaceful, relaxing, plenty of space, and beautiful sites to see. ♥️
