We had a brief meeting with the Mayor of Ufeyn District in the Bari Region regarding the road development plan. The meeting was attended alongside engineers from UNOPS and PHA.
We agreed to work together, and I emphasized that Pl Gove is now prioritizing the economic corridors.

Today, I participated in de consultation meeting on de WFP Somalia Strategic Plan (2026–2030) with Punt Gov institutions, focusing on its alignment with the Pl 4th Deve Plan.
Our discussions centred on strengthening coordination, aligning priorities, & shaping WFP interventions.

The Puntland Highway Authority (PHA) is clearing culverts along the Carmo–Bosaso highway to prevent flood damage. On Day 1, 15 culverts were cleaned over a 17 KM stretch. Debris, rocks, and plants were removed to ensure safe water flow.

I recently visited Xaaji Khayr village in Nugal, where @PhaPuntland is leading a vital road reconstruction project after this year's Gu' rains. Funded by the PL gov & implemented by Al Bashid, this initiative will restore connectivity & uphold the community's right to safe roads.
