@EOGamers@warhammer Man o’War and Mordheim I’ve always wanted to play, sadly my friends were to far gone down the 40K-hole at the time.
Feels a bit strange to omit Warhammer Quest, I mean it’s THE boxed game of the pre-2000 Games Workshop.
@EOGamers Man, that game is freaking nuts. Haven’t played it in ages but I recall that the amount of stuff you can do is only surpassed by the number of icons to keep track of 😅
@EOGamers Gonna take a guess: Citadel Colors? While I love using them (use them almost exclusively) they’ve managed to block some people’s ability to make descisions of their own when it comes to color choice. ”Which color black is that?!”
@EOGamers@warhammer Yeah, I’m all for eliminating one instance of dice rolling. To hit & armor save is plenty :-) Also, some kind of system for alternating activation would shake things up quite a bit. Some thing alone the lines of how Bolt Actions does it maybe?
@EOGamers@thearmypainter Have you heard about our Lord and Saviour Tamiya Extra Thin Cement? It’s amazing, it really is. Made putting together Kingdom Death and the original Shadows of Brimstone core sets almost, almost, bearable.
@EOGamers Oh absolutely. I had a game of Julius Caesar (Columbia Games) come down to the very last die roll (last turn of the game, last combat to be resolved) It was super intense, we were both standing and cheering on the dice and the small wooden block armies.
@JonMarkHicks 3-4 players + GM. I’m currently running Masks of Nyarlathotep for 5 players and while it works fine most of the time there are times when the limitations of online play (Discord) rears it’s head. Also, can be hard to let every one have time to shine.
@themeborne You know, today when I got my shipping notice for all the Dark Sector stuff the first thing on my mind was ”I wonder what their next game’s gonna be like?”. I can’t wait for the full reveal!
@JonMarkHicks Uuuuugh. That’s me currently one year into GM:ing Masks of Nyarlathotep and at the same time eyeing both Impossible Landscapes and Curse of Strahd. 🙈
