What a wonderful start to Day 3! UC Berkeley was a huge success! 2 GHHS AVID graduates gave the tour- c/o 20 and c/o 22! Granite Hills AVID is so proud of our students. @AVUSD @AVID4College

Day 2 adventures- Sacramento State… then UC Davis… and finished at Sonoma State. Best part of the day was our students talking about where they see themselves and adding colleges to their list! We had 2 of the 3 tours given by GHHS AVID graduates! @avusd @AVID4College

Stop #2- My GHHS AVID seniors just fell in love with Chico state- 8 hours from home. A GHHS c/o 22 AVID graduate gave us our tour- Once AVID family, always AVID family. 12 colleges left to see! @AVID4College @AVUSD #avid4college

@BradTakei @GeorgeTakei I have to agree- after watching one of our parents verbally attack our coach, in front of the players, following a 10u all star game today- I have to ask- What happened to good sportsmanship and modeling the behaviors we expect to see from our kids? We must first lead by example!

As the school year comes to an end, and as a counselor, you feel the mental and physical exhaustion, you get this from one of your seniors and you cry happy tears and jump for joy! This is why we do what we do! @AVUSD @AVID4College @WeAreCTA
