Landlord, Hitzke says she's able to make plenty of profit without harming families that rent in her buildings. So, if she can do that without jacking up rents and evicting renters, why can't corporate landlords? https://t.co/kTXxoGnfCN #SB567#HomelessnessPreventionAct
Ginger Hitzke is a Southern California landlord and real estate developer and she believes we need stronger renter protections to prevent homelessness #SB567#HomelessnessPreventionAct
Families like Antonio Avila Garcia's paid rent every month for 10 years, but a loophole allows landlords to kick tenants out. We support the #HomelessnessPreventionAct to stop corporate landlords from using reno-victions #SB567

In 2022 Fresno volunteers active through CNC’s Fresno Parks Advocates United committee identified the barriers youth from low-income families have to engage in sports. Understanding this volunteers took the time to meet with Fresno City Council offices to help them see
the need in allocating the funds to implement a Youth Fee Waiver Program.
Today we get to experience seeing this program being launched and now available to be of benefit to Fresno youth!
This is example is great in showing the value of people coming together, dreaming
