When reproductive or social capital is at stake, women instinctively disqualify competitors they perceive as superior.

That’s why today’s media centers on “mids” statistically average women that represent the largest portion of the population.

Since women now drive the majority of consumer spending, companies optimize for the female gaze, not male arousal or excellence.
