Thousands are stranded in #SouthSudan after IOM was forced to suspend life-saving transport services due to funding gaps.
“The time to act is now. This lifeline must be restored – urgently,” - IOM Director General @IOMchief https://t.co/NDjbqPWCCQ

1) Big money can be made through high savings, wise investing and lots of patience.
2) Trying to get rich fast is a foolproof way to lose what you have.
3) Losing opportunities is far better than losing money. Don’t invest in ponzi schemes.
4) “Making as much money as quickly as possible” is not an investment strategy. Unfortunately for most of us that is the strategy.
5) There are periods of high returns, low returns, no returns and negative returns. You need to go through all these to get great long term returns.
6) Don’t take aggressive bets. Remember one mistake can push you back by a decade or more.
7) The neighbourhood you live determines your lifestyle and spending. Be careful in choosing one which matches your goals and personality.
8) Bonds are for storing wealth and equities are for creation of wealth.
9) A debatable opinion is "the biggest asset one can have is zero debt."
10) The greatest discipline in personal finance is paying yourself first.
¹John, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God.
²To the Church of God in Nairobi.
³I don’t know where to start.
⁴Brethren, all hotels were fully booked across Nairobi during lunch hours last summer the day I arrived and so I went to Naivasha.
⁵In Naivasha I was surprised to meet many from the Church of Nairobi.
⁶The baptisms I witnessed in Lake Naivasha have caused Paul and I to fast and pray a lot for the Church of Nairobi and Naivasha.
⁷Brethren, if Lake Naivasha’s waters could speak, Hell’s Gate National Park would hold the microphone for Plumbers Without Borders to testify.
⁸Whatsapp, Signal, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter DM would listen to these testimonies while covering their mouths in disbelief and in horror smiling knowingly.
⁹An epidemic of kinembiosis has spread throughout the Church of Nairobi because all of you claim to be of Solomonic heritage.
¹⁰Some claim they are of the heritage of the woman who Jesus did not condemn repeating after every Naivasha visit “let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone at me!”
¹¹It is written, Jesus said to her “Go and sin no more.” But you have all pressed repeat.
¹²Brothers and sisters, kinembiosis and its kinetics will be the end of us all. It has no vaccine.
¹³Do not deceive yourselves.
¹⁴The law is the law. As it is written: fuck around, find out.
¹⁵Church of Nairobi, the Lord God isn’t sure whether to rescue you from your economic struggles or to whip the sexual sins out of thee.
¹⁶KoTians may Christ’s peace prevail upon your vayolens.
¹⁷The fame of KoTian warriors has spread globally. May victory follow you in your them vs KoTians next wars.
¹⁸Sister Debby I know you want me to speak a banana follow you blessing upon your life just as Gentile Davido did but this is neither the place nor the time.
¹⁹As it is written: there is time for everything.
²⁰There is a time to send fare. There is a time to eat fare.
²¹Before we beat sherehe ensure we spend quality time with our kids just as we spent on the morning glory of their origins. Otherwise plumbers wear gloves.
²²Spend quality time and money with your wives, kids and family. Invest jealously in them. When you die, after we en-grave you, eat, drink and leave, they are the ones who will always return to tend your grave and replay sweet memories. The rest of us will never revisit your grave and we shall not invest in your family after you die. We shall never visit them or look after them. We shall join the next sherehe. That is the rule of the jungle. Take it or live it. I John, an apostle of Christ have lived through it all.
²³We must remind each other not to display hyperreligiosity for God hears you in your most private prayers and we must stop shouting during public prayers. It is a public nuisance.
²⁴How come we have bought loudspeakers worth millions but sin has only increased? Whom are we shouting at? Would God not accept calm worship, praise and prayer?
²⁵Why are we driving expensive cars bought with congregation monies while many amongst those we preach to are ever hungry without college fees?
²⁶Though I yearn to see you again soon, I am awaiting DNA results of our neighborhood because there is confusion that children who resemble certain adults have been growing up in apartments where they don’t resemble those adults. Now these children have grown up and they are wondering why they resemble the fathers of their neighbours but call out "dad" to fathers they don’t resemble. After this chaos, I will accompany Paul to visit you. As you see, I don’t write you from a place of comfort or to judge you.
²⁷Our Lord God, most merciful, has instructed us to write to Prophet Nabii to appoint General Miguna Miguna he of the Viva Brigade to deal with all of you squarely.
²⁸Church of Kiambu, I am aware that you have been rolling fat blunts with Paul’s and my letters. I remind you, do not curse yourselves.
²⁹Church of Ruai, may God comfort you amen.
4 regular clients is good for a self taught enterprenuer 👏 👏 . If you can acquire 4, you can scale the same services to 1K customers and employ even more people to do this, but it will take time, don't rush. Trust the process.
I would recommend you start with registering a business name (if you haven't). This doesn't attract any taxes upfront but will enable you to easily open a bank account with your business name. (It makes you look more professional and serious than a client having to pay you directly).
You can opt to get a till number or use bank's Paybill Number to your Account number.
To get leads, I'd recommend you begin with Google Ads with a budget of like 2K a month (if you're not liquid enough), ensure you use the appropriate key words like "Affordable Graphic Designer in Nairobi", "Affordable Logo Designer in Nairobi" etc. You might need to do some keyword research.
You'll start getting calls for gigs.
Have a clear pricing structure. E.g. What you charge for a logo, how many logo samples do you do, how many revisions? What do you charge for an Instagram Post? Etc
Be professional and get a good Invoicing software. Zoho Books has a good tier for small businesses.
Get an affordable CRM to keep track of all your leads (even if they don't give you business) and your customers.
Continously engage your customers. It is easier to get business from a repeat customer than from a new customer. You can do this with discounts or even value addition like doing brand guides etc.
Depending on customer demands, you might need to purchase pro versions of tools like Canva, Shutterstock etc. They are about $5-$10 a month but they make a huge difference in the quality of your work.
Importantly, do high quality work. Service industry is about delivery and repeat business.
Be consistent.
All the best.

Disappear for 90 days and set yourself 10 years ahead-
1. Develop a routine. Sleep at 9:00 PM and be awake at 4.00 AM every day.
2. Spend 60-minutes of your day reading ,writing, and internalizing what you understand.
3. Be willing to let go of friendships that don't serve you. If you hangout with losers, you become a loser.
4. Master the art of self-discipline. Get up early, work long hours, and face your problems head on.
5. Learn a high-income skill that'll earn you $10k+ per month.
6. Stop chasing cheap dopamine. Prioritize what's important over pleasure.
7. Hit at least 100 push ups and 80 squats per day to stay strong. You'll also be healthier than 97% of people.
8. Build self-discipline by taking one cold shower in the morning.
9. Make the internet a source of your income. There're endless possibilities for making money.
10. Take 100% responsibility for your life and never blame circumstances or anyone.
11. Include proteins, fresh fruits, and 3L of water in your daily diet to optimize your health.
12. Hang out with people who obsess over making moves and living a good life. Your circle should not gossip, complain, or get jealous of each other.
13. Invest in a good wardrobe, a good niche fragrance, and learn how to talk. You'll boost your success rate by 94%.
14. Befriend nature, walk 5000 steps per day to clear your mind, boost your mood and get creative.
15. Keep distance from people who only prioritize their needs over yours. They're your greatest setback.
16. Be smart enough to quit weed, p*orn, and alcohol. They're the worst distraction that'll raise your dopamine, make you dumb, and depressed.
