I'm not interested in trying... Defund the Police, Open Borders, Sanctuary Cities, Men in Women's Sports, DEI Hiring, Green New Deal Energy Prices, Soft-on-Crime DAs, Catch and Release, Court Packing, Student Loan Bailouts, Gun Confiscation, Censorship Boards, Gender Surgeries for Minors, Trillion-Dollar Spending Sprees, Weaponized Agencies, and Lawfare against political opponents.
Sitting out doesn't "teach Republicans a lesson." It hands the gavel to Schumer and Jeffries for two years. Primaries are where you punish the GOP. November is where you stop the Left.

Hey I am not going to argue with you. Your right that I understand this very well. Let me word this another way. She could have responded with a solution, such as, I won't provide all the raw data because I feel it it's my responsibility to protect people's identity, but I will provide you with the same hashed data that I provide ERIC. But that is not what she did. Her response was "NO". Then she went public claiming that she was protecting everyone's private data. I don't feel like that's in the best interest of the citizens of Utah to shut the door like that. Also I don't think she should be sharing voter AND non voter DMV records with a private nonprofit organization, who by the way shared it with another organization who was funded by the Zuckerberg organization, a known left leaning group. It just doesn't add up and it's clearly just theater. I have tried to work with her office on multiple bills to help resolve some of the privacy vs election integrity vs party membership rights issues. To be honest I don't feel they have ever been honest with me or others and have multiple times last minute substituted bills without our knowledge even after having worked closely to try to come to an agreement. They did it so they could tell the legislators that she worked with us to make them feel good. I have learned that her office does not work in good faith. I have a few stories I could share but social media is not the right place.

Yep, I know it's hashed. But my point is that if hashing makes the data safe enough to send a private DC nonprofit every 60 days, why wasn't that same hashed file offered to DOJ? Henderson sent them the public voter list and nothing else. She didn't say "here's what ERIC gets, under the same terms." She said, "NO". So this was never about the hash or security. It's about who gets to ask. She is not applying the same standard and in fact she's giving the data to a private org.

Fair to disagree, but one correction: nobody can send "how we vote." Ballots are secret, and the voter file doesn't contain them. What DOJ asked for is name, address, DOB, and license number or last 4 of SSN. Those are the same fields Utah already uploads to ERIC every 60 days, hashed. If that's acceptable for a private nonprofit under a membership agreement, the question is why a federal agency acting under federal law is held to a different bar. I agree privacy laws should mean something. I just want them applied the same way to everyone who asks.

Nobody said Iran was going to launch a missile at Kansas. The Soviets never did either, and North Korea hasn't, yet nobody calls them harmless. A bomb isn't about using it. It's about what a regime gets away with once it has one. Iran already funds Hezbollah, the Houthis and militias that have killed Americans, and threatens to close the Strait of Hormuz. Put a nuclear shield over all of that and every response becomes 'do you really want to risk escalation with a nuclear power?' That's the threat: not a mushroom cloud over Washington, but an Iran that can blackmail the region, hit our troops and allies, and never pay a price. You don't wait for the mugger to pull the trigger to decide the gun was a problem.

I disagree with the Lt. Gov on her claim that she's protecting private information by withholding the voter role from the government especially when she also shares that same voter role with ERIC, but I don't think there is any evidence of a crime or at least I'm not aware of any. I just saw the post and was curious.

Christ's atonement is infinite and noone is beyond the reach of the blessings promised. Everything our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ do and have done is to give you and me every chance possible to overcome our sins and weaknesses. To deny that is saying Christ's Atonement is limited. It's not. His love for you is beyond our comprehension.
