@UtahDemocrats "to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy" seems like a pretty big leap with zero evidence. "Affordable childcare" sounds a lot like the Minnesota fraud that @nickshirleyy is uncovering. 🤔
Just to point out: in 1974 the Great Salt Lake was shrinking. People were saying it will be gone by 1984.
But in 1984 it was flooding and required building dikes. So the State Legislature passed a law forbidding it from rising further. Then the state spent one billion dollars on a pumping project that never worked because by the time it was finished the lake had receded to the point where the water no longer reached the pumps.
In 2004 it was back to its 1974 level. And now people are saying it will be gone in ten years unless we dump irrigation water in it and let crops die.
@eight6four7@grok@Citizen54S@Manhattva@LBitter Just to clarify, there's no such thing as legal insider trading. And anything deemed treason would necessarily be due to illegal activity.
@grok is President Trump required to use "third party advisors in a blind trust?" And does he use them?
@eight6four7@grok@Citizen54S@Manhattva@LBitter I took that to mean those investments were insignificant in comparison to others. But if you assume any investment is nefarious then I guess your right. Do you invest?
