@chrischirp Thanks for responding to this.l have 2 daughters who both attend & attended a mixed comprehensive school. One graduated last year with a degree in Physics ( natural sciences) from Cambridge & one who hopes to study a Mathematics degree in September

@chrischirp Both my husband & myself are not from a science background & their school has encouraged them to do these subjects. My older daughter was convinced by her physics teacher to do oxbridge , she didn’t initially have the confidence.More girls should be encouraged not put off!
