Congratulations to NCAA Vice President of Men's Basketball JoAn Scott, who retires today after more than a decade of overseeing the NCAA Tournament and Final Four!
JoAn has been a longtime ally to the NABC and coaches throughout the sport. Thank you, JoAn!
I’ve had all kinds of messages being sent to me about my previous post and of court rulings from 1950s and 60s. I’m well aware of the desegregation laws. first know something about my background. Secondly thousands of people get denied admissions to every university around the country on a yearly basis. Why don’t people file law suits to force their admissions into these universities then?
I’m not arguing. I’m just trying to make a point.
Me like everyone else is trying to find a solution that helps everybody
No court ruling can force a school to admit a student.
No court ruling can force an athletics director to clear an athlete
No court order can force a coach to play an athlete
Proud of our guys Abdullah Ahmed and Christian Martin, and assistant coach Brian Steele, who helped USA East Coast Basketball to a 3-1 record in their tour in Canada this month!
@coachFMartin joined to guest coach a game as well 🏀

I am forever grateful for @coachFMartin , a man who never wavers from who he is and never quits on those who sacrifice for him. His honesty, loyalty, and mindset to attack each day remain constant regardless of circumstance. Those are values I will try to carry with me forever.
Internet Video guys of social media love quarterbacks with a canon for an arm. Winning teams love quarterbacks that can read defense lead a group of men and complete passes
While Jayden Daniels wants LSU to retire No. 5, Steve Spurrier unretired his number so Ben Hanks could wear it.
“He told me, ‘No numbers need to retired at the University of Florida. I’m bringing it out.’”
The HBC also fought to get him into UF.
“I always thank Coach Spurrier for just going to bat for me.”

What an incredible athlete. I had an old baseball coach Tell me once upon a time, that back in the day pitchers were taught to drop and drive from the mound. There were not as many arm injuries as there are now.
He told me that now they’re taught to be tall, to create a downward angle with the release, which stresses the shoulder and elbow even more.
Just a thought

Ok to everyone on my X timeline. Over the past two days I’ve actually read my messages. Something I only do once or twice a year. Usually when I’m in a really good mood like I am today.
It’s been fun.
No to the five or six people that every time I check are always bringing negativity and Personal attacks, here’s what I got for you today:
Please take your negativity, your empty bag of Doritos, the six pack of Diet Coke that are laying on the ground in your mom‘s basement, to quote the great one @TheRock , turn them sideways and ….
