The person you are is far more important than the player you are. Your athletic talent is temporary, but your character lasts a lifetime What are your habits? Do you work hard? Are you selfish? Are you humble? Are you grateful? Are you honest? Do you care for others?

Keeps the body behind and lets the hands work through, taking an outside FB off the LF fence for a long oppo 2B.

2028 | LHP/1B | Owen Beasley (@kcdirtbags)
Beasley digs in with 2K and returns at FB up the middle for a 1B
Looks the part in the middle of the order, direct path w/ present strength. Reached in both trips so far 👀

Big Congratulations to these three for making the commitment to wrestle in college! #WarriorPride
Ellie Pickett & Noellie Parrott will be attending Central Methodist University next year.
Alex Hutchcraft will be wrestling at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga!
You don't realize that your body language is like a neon sign. It screams everything you’re not saying. Primarily, it shows your character, attitude, intention & ability to handle adversity. Keep positive body language, especially when things are hard. It shows you can overcome!
NEGATIVE BODY LANGUAGE LETS
• Your opponents know they have the upper hand
• Your teammates know your selfish
• Recruiters know you can't handle adversity
• Random spectators form opinions about you
Nothing good comes from negative BL.
KEEP YOUR CALM

Parents often say “What will I do when I don’t have a practice/game to take my kids to anymore?” When you do something every week, every season, you don’t realize how much it’s part of your life until it’s not. Same is true for athletes. You can’t get this time back. Cherish it!
Don't for a second think a Scout is there to see your “stats”. They're there to see the “other stuff”. Pre game work routine, what kind of teammate you are, handling adversity. They want to see WHO you are. They'll “make” the talent better and everyone they scout has it. They generally walk away from the guy who shows them idiocy, selfishness and laziness.
