Observation 1 from Peachtree Ridge: CB Dorian Barney is elite. Barney made a number of pass breakups today in practice and has great ball skills. Just feels effortless for him out there.

Credit it to the constant work he puts in and the training schedule his pops has him on

Final Observation: Darnell Kelly is a top QB in the state and definitely deserves more eyeballs. Just look at the first throw and how he fit it over the slot corner right into the receiver hands.

Doesn’t get better than that. Kelly is athletic, takes weight room seriously, and has great ball placement and accuracy on his throws. Led Peachtree Ridge to one of their best seasons since 2009.

Observation 3: Peachtree Ridge will have a top secondary in the state next season.

4 ⭐️ CB Dorian Barney- a true lockdown corner who is elite when the ball is in the air. Could easily see more pick-sixes next year and exceed his interception total from last season (4)

3 ⭐️ CB Osiris Gilbert- Gilbert will man the other side, and is a playmaker on the backend when the ball in the air. Likely to get a lit of targets with Barney on the other side

CB Rhari “King” Thomas- versatile player that will likely man the slot. Defensive coordinator will have fun using Thomas all over the field. You may even see him come down on some blitzes

#8 (Safety) made several plays on defense and has a good football IQ; really like his ability to read the field and react
