Your coach won't take you seriously if:
โYou only do the required
โYou show up late
โYou goof off
โYou make excuses
โYour effort fluctuates
โYou care about your success more than the teamโs success
โYou mentally & physically check out when struggling

The 1st four things I like to teach young Big Men:
1. Aggressively catch the ball.
2. Aggressively attack the basket.
3. Aggressively pursue rebounds.
4. Aggressively defend your man.
Great Coaches:
1 Plan meticulously and with great attention to detail
2 Not Defensive in interactions w/their players or parents
3 Challenge themselves to learn and develop as a coach
4 Honest and conduct themselves w/ integrity
5 Do not let their egos get tied up in the outcome

Make it fun so they want to come back. When learning is fun, they want to pay attention.
@HerbonHoops The set up of a cut, screen, dive is 1000000000x more crucial to creating space against an opponent with an advantage. Change of speed, change of direction.
