The AD needs to make that determination, not parents, not students, not administrators. The AD needs to run the department and evaluate the coaches and make those decisions. Parents and kids will always have complaints, need an adult to sort thru it.
In our school district - a parent or kids complains or accuses a teacher or coach of wrongdoing / the district assumes the teacher/coach is guilty. They fired the last two baseball staffs in the last two years. Who the hell wants to coach there anymore
The coach needs to lead and be willing to lose some players and some games by having consequences for this type of behavior. I understand that if you come down hard on your best player - he'll go somewhere else next year but this behavior will ruin the game.
Nevada softball star Madison Clark has set the Wolf Pack's single-season hits record and ranks top 10 in the nation in average. But a rare injury means every step she takes on the diamond comes with some pain.

"She'll always say she puts it in God's hands. It's very emotional to see your kid go through that all the time and be in pain all the time."
@Nevada_Softball's Madison Clark is persevering through a rare injury as one of college softball's top hitters this season

@BlackHatFootbal D5 boys: Woodland Christian beats Argo for title, stays D5, No. 1 seed; Argo No. 3 in D5.
D5 girls: Bret Harte beats WC for title and BH gets 12 seed in D4. WC gets No. 2 seed in D5. Why does one D5 champ get to say, and the other doesn’t?
🚨MAJOR BREAKING NEWS 🚨

Used to happen in California, but no more. Small town teams now have to face much larger schools in earlier rounds due to good 'ol competitive equity. It is special and doesn't have to end if many CIF admins weren't so in love with complete 100 percent competitive equity.
