@bigtroubleBB Borne (David Bostian) was a standout wrestler at Laney High (home of Michael Jordan) Trot and his sons went to New Hanover High. David is around the age of Trot’s kids give ir take a few years. So they would def know each other. In Wilmington all the atletes know each other

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@thebrewghost @bigtroubleBB He is from wilmington,nc. Graduate of Laney High (home of Michael Jordan). Trot went to New Hanover High. His two sons also went there. One plays baseball at NC State. Borne was a really goo wrestler and knows his sons I am sure.

@NC_Governor How about working on getting back longevity for one of the only state employee groups to have it taken?

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@JohnSmist78 @JEPopeIV Thomas Linebacker for Seahawks played at Heritage High and NC State

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@VerizonNews Been out since mid day and just got back.

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@CoastalPreps I was hoping the Cubs are gonna get him being a diehard Cubs fan from Wilmington and having Coached againstMcKenzie while at https://t.co/UFiiDDxzIa would’ve been nice.

Season 20 starts today..

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@Super70sSports So I graduated from Laney and later went back to teach and coach football there. The guy in the photo actually became a history teacher at Laney until he retired. He laughed about that photo all the time.

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@PrepBaseballMD @GoSaintMichaels Curious on a jump turn do you not have to throw the ball. I understand if he steps off and turns he does not. Asking for understanding?

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@Fergazoid_910 Yeah i got there at 7am in fuquay and waited till almost 3pm. I have to go in with my bus license.

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@Fergazoid_910 Any day game at Wrigley can be interesting if the wind is blowing out.. but was a good one

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@Fergazoid_910 Ut how bout the Cubs comeback

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@JoelBryantHSOT @NCHSAA I agree. Id like to see the ild mideastern to have become the carolina coastal but dont hate the new one.. But we cant have all these repeat names. We may get more

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@JoelBryantHSOT @CoastalPreps @EvanMoestaHSOT I think like you a name change was due along time ago but it will probably end up status quo. Something like Tri Coastal as it has 3 counties and 3 levels

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@JoelBryantHSOT @CoastalPreps @EvanMoestaHSOT That name has been around sinc at least 1994 ish. I played at Laney from 1996 to 2000. That confernce has had alot of teams uo and down coast. It included Wayne and Carteret counties and even Greenville at one point. Further back it stretched to fay not sure of name them

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@musk_news13 I have a few

[Andrew Rusk @coach_rusk]

@EvanMoestaHSOT @HighSchoolOT @JMBpreps As a former Laney student and coach i have to say it is a great experience when packed out. The wrestling setup in the other gym is sweet too.
