Justin Verlander will always be my favorite player of all time.

His wealth of knowledge about pitching gave for a really nuanced take about the state of pitching injuries in today’s game.

If he has any interest at all I hope he goes into coaching.

@973TheFanSD It’s baseball! Worth the risk in the 1st plus he would have made it on a slightly offline throw. And the eye test said Joe didn’t have it and time to try somebody else. Would be nice if we had a bit more depth in the pen is what stands out early on this season
