@JaredPurcellDET@ClarkstonXCteam @CtownAthSec @TheeJungle Two years in a row with errors for runners in the top 10. Have to believe there are other errors that are unnoticed. It’s nice that the error can be changed but the fact that it is happening at this level is unacceptable...
@RomeoTrack @JFTMichigan @hawksdistance @XCSaline @MHSAA Last year we had a runner finish 8th but get listed 10th. Had to appeal as it switched us from 4th to 3rd when corrected. If they can’t get the top 10 right I have no confidence in the rest of the results...

@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC I disagree, the championship race at NXR is definitely invite only. Yet MI individuals participate and qualify for NXN. And Nick Foster and Evan Bishop were invited to NXN despite not qualifying based on their seasonal accomplishments.
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC No. MHSAA definition of club team requires students from more than one school. Hence they don’t consider NXR a club event. If MHSAA changes the rule of a what a club is (something like a group that doesn’t use school uniforms/transportation/funding) then athletes could go.
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC I wouldn’t want or expect NXN to change. But if MHSAA broadens their definition of a club to allow clubs to consist of members of one or more schools then it seems MI schools could compete at NXR/NXN as clubs.
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC Why does MHSAA have the right to determine which events team participate in outside of the MHSAA season. And if we don’t agree with the MHSAA what avenues to make changes do we have? Clearly Michigan schools have run as clubs at NXR in the past without sanctions...
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC NXR labels itself as a club event, the issue to me seems that MI does not consider it a club if everyone is from the same HS and NXR requires everyone to be from the same HS.
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC Would changing the current club rule that states clubs must consist of athletes from multiple schools to clubs may consist of multiple schools solve the problem?
@SHSTrackandXC@NVilleGirlsXC@RunCoach341@MITCATFXC As a coach who came from out of state, not being able to run NXR/NXN is far and away the biggest thing holding MI back. I don’t think many coaches realize how amazing the experience they are missing is.
@MIXCSpeedRtngs Callen Carrier goes 16:25 at OK Blue. You rate him 190. Conor Somers runs 16:25 at Mel Hall. You rate him 197. Same course, slightly better conditions Saturday (I rated Mel Hall 3 sec faster). Why the 21 second discrepancy?
"I look at a running back as a sprinter. And running is actually in the title of my job, my occupation. My job is to run, and it's to do it fast. All of my speed work is with a track coach. All of my lifting is with a track coach." @run__cmc

Next time you think about skipping a couple of hours of sleep, ask yourself if it's worth forgoing your bodies natural performance-enhancing drugs?

Sleep is the best performance enhancer there is.
It's when your body repairs, recovers, and grows.
For instance, your highest HGH (Human Growth Hormone) output occurs...when you sleep! Don't miss out on your natural hormonal boost by skipping out on sleep.
