No secret the WIAC uses "grey shirts" which essentially has given them 5th year players most years prior and in my opinion has been an advantage. I suspect we may see a shift back. Unfortunately

My take on what we've seen in the past couple seasons of D3 football has to do with the covid year. I belive the ability for a majority of schools to have 5th year players has made it a more level playing field.

@EDGYTIM Two divisions....you can't just have school choice....rich schools would take over. Keep class sizes and enforce something on public schools recruiting.

I belive this may be why certain programs are falling out earlier than expected from playoffs and some teams are making the field for the first times. My question is now that the 5th year covid year is over will we see a shift of power back to schools who use the "grey shirt"
