I have no sympathy for this accused. If the law believes a public parade is justified, so be it.

But here's the question everyone avoids:

Why does this "zero tolerance" disappear when women are accused of meticulously planning and brutally killing their husbands?

Why weren't Siya, Sonam, and others subjected to the same public treatment?

Justice isn't justice if it changes with the accused's gender.

MARK MY TWEET: News channels have gone on an overdrive on Ketan Agarwal Siya Goyal case because it was bringing TRP. No one asked them to go on this overdrive but they did.

But they'll now be guilt tripped why did they give so much coverage to a case where a woman was a perpetrator. Their feminist friends will hound them & blame them.

They'll then pick up a case and undo all this conversation on men being victims painting all of them as perpetrators again. Coming very soon.

In my career, I have interacted with many hardened criminals and murder accused. Most of them show some sign of regret, grief, or emotional conflict, particularly where the victim is innocent.

What is striking in this case is the chilling absence of any such emotion. The allegations speak of a crime planned and executed in cold blood, followed by the conduct that is equally cold and remorseless.
