One week from the transfer portal. We're looking for a few special additions @GCU_WSoccer. Fire, competitive spirit, burning desire to win & a team-first mentality.
☝️ of the best campuses in the country & finest stadiums around.
Let's chase a ring TOGETHER & have fun doing it.
A couple more of the amazing transfers that have come to GCU and left a huge mark on us. Couple of my personal favorites here! Stalwarts on the programs best ever defense (statistically) in 2024.
After careful consideration, I have decided to enter the transfer portal on May 1st, with 3 years of eligibility remaining (maybe 4).
I’m extremely thankful for my time at GCU and I’m excited for what’s to come!

We’ve found some amazing difference makers in the portal throughout the years. One of the keys to our success has been how much of a transfer destination GCU is.
When I transferred after my fresh year, I finally knew what I wanted (after experiencing college for a year):
1. I wanted to play
2. I wanted to play for a program that historically won & competed for championships
3. I wanted a real campus experience

Prob the rule I dislike the most in tournament play. 2 yellow cards across 3 group games shouldn’t bring the same punishment as 2 in 1 game. Yes, 2 in one game also means expulsion from the current game. But that could be in the 90th min.
That said men’s soccer is wild w/ fouls.

BBC Sport can reveal that Fifa is set to change the rules around suspensions for accumulated yellow cards at the World Cup.
A second amnesty stage will see all yellow cards wiped:
1⃣ After the group stage AND
2⃣ After the quarter-finals.

Great interview. I was HC at Midland when he arrived & saved the university from going under. Never been around a leader like him. I was in awe every time he spoke to us. So intelligent.
My father passed of pancreatic cancer over a year ago. Enjoy every moment w/ your fam, Ben.
“It’s weird to be in your early 50s and get a terminal diagnosis, and people all of a sudden act like you’re 93 or 94 and have a lot of wisdom,” says former Sen. Ben Sasse.
“I don’t know that I have a lot of wisdom, but I do have a lot of things that I think we should be reflecting on together.” https://t.co/wX65Sho73O
Every summer, once I’ve recuperated from the daily grind, I try & study various teams throughout the college scene. Looking for unique tactics & styles of play to learn from.
In the last 5 years it feels like there’s been an explosion of ideas/different formations. Fun to watch.
This is funny. We had one of these kits my senior year of college in 2002. Impossible to put back on after sweating in it. First guy that scored and took his jersey off that year. Game had to be stopped and two people had to help him get it back on. 😂
Our inaugural Alumni 7v7 tournament was a 𝙎𝙐𝘾𝘾𝙀𝙎𝙎 🎉
Thanks to all of our amazing alumni that made it, we can’t wait for next year and the new events to come! #LopesUp
Change has to come for 🏀 . This is insane. From over regulation to complete anarchy. Always been for SA’s getting paid that generate the dollars to universities and the NCAA. But there needs to be some guidelines.
