Tom Osborne, when asked about going 60-3 in a 5 year period
at Nebraska:
“ Well, it started in the weight room. Our culture here revolves around it. We take great pride in dominating our opponents physically, and for the most part, we just wear people down “
Another great Outside Zone drill from the Tennessee Titans
This is the Snap Climb drill teaching the uncovered to snap off to the second level while helping the covered lineman overtake easier
Lots of great coaching points here!

Our HS banned cell phones this year from the time school starts until the final bell. It’s the best thing ever. Students talk to each other at lunch. Teachers don’t have to make their own rules about phones in class. Can’t imagine going back. Even the kids get it. #nophoneschool
Correction is not criticism.
I played for a great high school coach and I would constantly get asked how I handled him “yelling” at me. He wasn’t yelling at me. He was holding me to a higher expectation because he knew my goals.
Be worried when your coach stops talking to you
Dear Parents,
A team-first attitude starts at home. Unfortunately, so does a me-first attitude. The world does not revolve around your child. Do not spoil. Do not give in to whining. Do not tolerate selfish behavior. Be firm. Be intentional. Be consistent.
Sincerely,
Society
Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we're going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good –Vince Lombardi
I think everybody should take the attitude that we're working to be a champion, that we want to be a champion in everything that we do. Every choice, every decision, everything that we do every day, we want to be a champion. – Nick Saban
