After 2.5 weeks of training camp practices, @Colts players will have a chance to showcase the work they've put in over four quarters in Buffalo. Position-by-position notes and things to watch today: https://t.co/kEFwHIurSM
BAD players - don't show up
AVERAGE players - show up & go through the motions
GOOD players - show up & work hard
GREAT players - show up, work hard & do more on their own

Robin Williams’ emotional tribute to the American Flag leaves an entire stadium speechless — then in tears.
Is there a single Hollywood star who would give this performance today?
What a true legend 🇺🇸
If you are getting D2 offers it’s because your size, speed, film, and grades says that’s what you are. It’s not disrespectful or being slept on, it’s an opportunity you should appreciate.
⭕Scholarships By Division ⭕
Disclaimer: All scholarships regardless of division have to be earned every year.
D1FBS: 85 Full Ride Scholarships Per year for the entire team. These are all or nothing scholarships. No partial awarded.
D1FCS: 63 Full Ride equivalency Scholarships per year for the entire team. Partials are awarded, and you have the opportunity to gain or lose money every year. Or lose the scholarship entirely. Out of pocket cost is the number to focus on.
D2: 36 full equivalency scholarships per year for the entire team. That's roughly 50-100 players for 36 scholarships. Partials are awarded. Can lose or gain money here as well. Out of pocket cost extremely important here. Also having a high gpa is critical to getting a lucrative financial aid package overall.
D3: Don't offer athletic scholarships, but they do award scholarships based on merit and/or need. They do not have a scholarship cap restriction and could offer a lot more player an opportunity than some D2 and NAIA. However their tuition generally are higher than other divisions.
NAIA: 24 full equivalency Scholarships. Their structure is ultimately a combination of the D2 and D3 structure.
JUCO: There both scholarship and non scholarship Juco out there. This is a great opportunity to reset your gpa and re enter the market with your AA if you made some academic mistake in high school. Also is a great place to develop your game. I personally recommend Juco for anybody that has earn a D1PWO. I believe you can pull an actually offer with a little more development and you can leave early since you already are qualified for the NCAA. Think about it, but that Juco life is not for everybody.
Generally the process to earn any of these scholarship includes:
- Academics: minimum gpa in most cases is 2.2 from the NCAA, BUT each individual school has their own gpa requirements and it's generally closer to a 3.0 and the sliding scale will be a factor.
- Strong Hudl highlight: take your time and craft an amazing highlight. 5 minutes max, simple animations like the circle or arrow, no slow motion, highlight your self at least 2 second before the snap.
- Schools may request your best 3 games. Ideally you want to send your best 3 games verse quality opponents not stat teams.
- Head/position coach feedback I know many of you think that you can skip this part, but you need a strong character reference from your coaches. Colleges would be taking a huge risk on you, by not talking to the men that have spent the last 4 years with you, and they will not lie for you because that will hurt the next kid.
- Relationship building: relationships are critical. Whetherbyih build your own or if your coaches have them. Unfortunately coaches really aren't interested in getting to know you check their on and off the field boxes.
Ultimately your recruitment rest ln your shoulders. Your coaches will support you the best the can, but you will have to do most of the leg work. Nobody will push your content like you will. Not even these paid recruiting services will truly put the same effort into getting you noticed. It's just a job to them but it's your life.
Be ready though. Your recruitment can't flip in a positive direction in an instance. So stay hungry and keep hunting!!!
