Every High school coach in the state of Alabama should hear what Dabo Swinney is saying; "RIGHT is RIGHT EVEN WHEN NOBODY IS DOING IT: WRONG IS WRONG WHEN EVERYBODY IS DOING IT." That is INTEGRITY!! We have a segment of coaches in our state who really need to hear this!!
I could not agree more 100% agree. But to even go another step further if you are a coach who is cheating turn yourself in to your principal. You deserve to lose your job. I know this is very far-fetched but how do you sleep at night if you know that you're breaking the rules and not following the bylaws.
Such an unfortunate incident. National Federation rules I would think supersede any local rules here and NFHS rules are clearly stated that a player or coach must be suspended for leaving the bench during an incident such as this. I have the utmost respect for Josh Niblett both as a coach and a human being and I think it is so unfortunate the way things unfolded that 39 players will not get to play in the next round.
@ZachGelb@InfSportsNet@BleavNetwork@davidpollack47 First of all David Pollock Great respect for you and your testimony. Let me let you in on a little secret. There is only two people that know what any coach is thinking particularly Lane, the mother of his children, and his agent, Jimmy Sexton.
Buck, How can you sit there and say Kirby was not calling a time out?
Are you blind? You as well as anybody that played the game know the universal signal for a time out. As a high school coach for 46 years when Kirby visited with us he alway said “We should Do Everything Possible to maintain the integrity of the game !! Kirby DID NOT do that Saturday!!
Winning? But Christ.
Losing? But Christ.
Getting what you want? But Christ.
Not getting what everyone else has? But Christ.
We are nothing without Him.
We are saved by grace through nothing except Him.
@coachmarkf@OfficialGHSA What are you saying Mark? Please explain your comment. Do I understand you to be saying indirectly, that the AHSAA Does not care about high school football? Asking for myself.
