Farmers don't dig up their seeds to see if they are growing. They keep doing the work, cultivating, trusting the process, preparing for the harvest.
Growth takes time. Results take time. Be patient, be persistent, do the work, focus on your habits, be ready for the harvest.

PLAYERS: When coaches, teachers, or parents push you or hold you to high standards, it's normally because they want you to be better. They want you to reach your potential. They want you to achieve your goals. Be coachable and appreciate the ways they might be able to help you.
๐ Senior Year: Let's Roll! ๐ My journey's been incredible, and as I start my last high school basketball season, the buzz is real. Get ready for a thrilling ride with the ENNIS LADY LIONS! ๐ฆ๐ฅ #SeniorSeasonKickoff
Attention to detail is what separates the great from the good. While most athletes ignore the small details, the best athletes leave nothing to chance when it comes to their training, preparation, and performance.
Basketball season reveals what you did in the offseason.
Games reveal what you did in practice.
Practices reveal what you did on your own.
What you did on your own reveals your mindset.
Win the mental battle first.
Mental toughness requires thick skin. Donโt be easily offended by what coaches, teammates, opponents, analysts, and fans say. Take control of your mindset so you can stay positive and focused no matter what others say to you.
BAD Players: donโt take much seriously.
AVERAGE Players: take games seriously.
GOOD Players: take games & practices seriously.
GREAT players: take academics, nutrition, film, warm ups, individual work, weight room, practice, and games seriously.

I Can't stand "S.O.F.T." Players!
S - satisfied with being average
O - only concerned about self
F - finds excuses easily
T - tough in speech, but not action
* This applies to coaches as well!
As an athlete, take on the responsibility of being a leader. If thereโs an opportunity to lead, take it. Donโt just rely on your coaches to lead the team. Do your part too!
What are the Fastest ways to Kill a Team Culture?
โช๏ธBe late
โช๏ธComplain
โช๏ธFeel entitled
โช๏ธPoint fingers
โช๏ธUse ME, not WE
โช๏ธDonโt finish reps
โช๏ธTake all the credit

Donโt let these sabotage your team.
