My dad and I watched the 1990 Runnin’ Rebels defeat LMU in the NCAA West Regionals. We were enamored. They represented PASSION, GUTS, GLORY.

Others will too.

Thinking about the exceptional coaches (every sport) who have 30yrs invested. And it strikes me;

“Being a success” in coaching isn’t defined by a meteoric ☄️rise, but a gradual CLIMB.

THE SHOOTING STAR is bright but fizzles.
