In order to be able to handle a seasons workload of 50-80 pitches (hs) & 70-100 pitches (college, pro) per outing you have to train accordingly in the offseason. You can’t throw 2-3 times a week & make 30-50 throws per session and expect to stay healthy or maximize performance
My high school coach gave me a simple goal- 100 swings per day. Tee, toss, BP whatever. Just get in 100+ swings.

Based off of in-house numbers, there’s a very nice correlation between rotational scoop toss velocity and batting exit velocity. Rotational power matters!
